According to UNICEF, there are an estimated 25 million children of trauma in India, a number that is expected to rise in the coming years due to increased cases of HIV and AIDS among the population.
Indonesia
According to UNICEF, there are an estimated 4.4 Million orphans in Indonesia. There are about 7,000 orphanages in Indonesia with about 500,000 children.
Ghana
According to UNICEF, there are an estimated 1 million orphans in Ghana with an estimated 120-140 orphanages within the country. The children come from all sorts of backgrounds including HIV/AIDS related, poverty, abuse, and other.
